This two-phase development saw us first clear the site, install hundreds of metres of subsurface drainage, custom-mill all felled timber and landscape the building envelope, before creating a totally original and inviting family holiday house. Unique yet simple, highly liveable yet whimsical, each pod features fibre cement cladding, geometric strip jointing and custom hardwood joinery in a striking homage to the classic Aussie fibro beach shack. The key to us managing the entire project with only a few face-to-face meetings with the Sydney-based owners was the genuine trust and creative ambition we shared from the start.
